Biofizica

Stone-giant

Sixty steps, the stairway’s broken and you hear the stereo noises
on your knees you heal your bruises
and the raindrops start to roll down the forehead that is cold,
questions looking for their answers in a song that’s pretty dull
where Nottingham has roots in stories so it dreams itself alive
and its paths diverge in alleys that run farther from the Sun…

I have chosen, Ego sum, I was wrong,
perfect sense does not exist in a state of altered mist
it is pressure that transforms dirty coal into cliché shining bliss
– and not a kiss;
his ribs are cut from stone and so are all the looks he’s given
and the devil smiled and put a tingle on your lower Eastern lip…

Music

I need music to put the days in motion
for music is the color of the life I gathered
and my core burns notes instead of carbon,
I need dancing in my soul even if my feet be freezing
and the jumping beat of changing weather,
to close my eyes and surrender to the dreaming…

So sing to me your longest ballads stranger
don’t let sunshine pass without your fingers playing
and paint your pastels in the fountains of my lights,
I live on rhymes and lyrics spoken from the heart
may your voice be more than just vibrations
and your chords be strings your feelings stroke…

Nil

There’s no fight, there is no war
we give up and we go home,
we don’t scream, we do not cry
it is so late, why even try?

Dust’s a carpet on the floor
our shoes do walk no more,
and the mirrors won’t reflect
any thought we’ve never had…

Rain’s still filling up our rives
sailing boats down to the sea,
there’s an island without trees
used to shovel up our dreams…

There’s no struggle, no debate
tore down this wall we’ve made,
we do not speak, see to the south
there is light but it’s not ours…

The crossing

I cannot walk for I have lost my feet
rain is pouring washing my last words
I need a big fire to bring a little light
in this valley in the middle of the night,
I still got the guns but forgot how to use
the powder is wet and my will in rust
tonight the stars won’t show direction
I need a friend in whom to put my trust
and Steve lies on a floor many stories ago
where my dreams rest behind shut doors,
and the night is getting even darker
I try to shout but my lungs won’t listen
falling faster and deeper than ever before
relapsing on drugs to blind me from truth
I won’t believe nor listen to the signs
for it hurts too much finding out
this world of shadows is of human design…

I need to open my eyes and look further
hook my fingers in dirt and start climbing
use my bruises to feel and heal stronger,
to start writing when words won’t come out
and find a friend that may cross mountains…

Sonată

Water Works: Painting Water in Oils @ Susan PLOUGHE

Scrie-mi peste umbre frunzele albastre
și fragmente rupte din cărțile desculțe…

Spre orizonturi albe căile se leagă,
în buchete strânse
în dimineți uitate cerul se botează,
zorile sunt gânduri;

June 2

First love came like rain in June
second one would crumble down,
and the girls that danced since then
their eyes will fade like misty winds,
but this One, she’s here to stay –
calls you ‘darling’ every day
can’t believe the dream is gone
and you are very much awake…
took her hand one night in Paris
you did help her find the way
kissing softly on your cheek
she did help you cross that bridge….
funny gifts and one pink tie
she brings sunshine on her skies
and you hold her dearly too
like a diamond ring or two…

The soldier

Soldier by Camilla Vuorenmaa

“Officer I am dying” said the soldier to the nun
in the sunset of his fire they would walk up to the dawn
but his legs are lost in linger
and they’ve built up wheels to run
trains will push them forward piercing tears in the calm…

Keep your wits while thunder’s howling to the storm
our heavy hearts get even only with the rains that fall,
there is time for a confession
just before the nails go through
the darkness rises and so does the brightest star in you…

The fighting never ended and torments his soul
and every step is a battle for a soldier that repents
his epaulets show glory
but the eyes have bled
the night is heavy but hours never cease to pass…

Your pension got you waiting in a motel by the highway
where each stranger checking in departed as a friend
but passion molds on torture
and fortune gains in cold
the gods might answer if willingly you make that call…

Once upon a time

Alice has got a brand new hook
she’s reading stories from a dusty red book,
legends and truth as it may seem
keep her tied to the library’s stream…

Once upon a time there was a Prince
handsome bastard that lived on a whim,
his castle of gold and the throne were foretold
he rode white horses as the pages rolled…

And Alice kept up drinking words
she was feeding on reflected synonyms
a world she built from scattered dreams,
her hands heal yet her reason kills…

In the late of March the rabbits reest
and a toast it takes to start the feast,
Alice dances closer to the beast
and that’s a rumor to the least…
